Since we have many participants this year, the poster presentation will be proceeded by each LC not by individuals. Therefore, we need all representatives from the same LC to work together to finish the presentation!
Please click here to review our yearly theme--“Different Types of Forest Utilization in Asia-Pacific Region” before you prepare for the presentation. Afterwards, here are some rules for you to follow: 1. The Report—submit before the meeting (deadline: 05/20) The format of the report this year will be relatively easy and unlimited. You don’t need to publish your report by many obscure words. Instead, we would like your LC to prepare a two-paged A4 abstract to briefly and interestingly introduce your topics and send it to [email protected]. We will print it out in everyone’s brochure (color-printed). Please do not make the abstract exceed two pages for limited space of layout in the brochure. It is also highly recommended to use pictures and graphics to describe the issues you're going to share, as long as presented under the following suggested format: a. Font: Times New Roman b. Title (point 15) c. Body (point 11) d. Space - between the lines: 1.5 (150%) - Top, Bottom: 2.54 cm - Left, Right: 1.9 cm 2. The Posters — print out by yourself and bring to the meeting The format of the poster is very free, too. The only few suggestions of general organization order are as follows: a. Title b. Name(s) of author(s) c. LC’s name d. Introduction e. Short results (the more diagrams, the better.) f. Reference Likewise, we hope you can present your poster in a simple and vivid way by using graphics to elaborate your ideas. If necessary, it is ok to bring more than one poster to the meeting! 3. During the poster presentation— we’ll conduct this event like a workshop as below: At the day of presentation, each LC will have 5 minutes to briefly introduce your presentation topics to draw everyone's interest. After the introduction, we'll let everybody go around individually to find and read the posters he or she likes. In this time, each LC should have at least one LC member standing before his or her own poster to explain it for members from other LCs. To make sure that all participants have enough time to look around understanding every topic from each LC, the speaker of each LC’s poster are suggested to take turns. →Reminder: Remember to send your two-paged A4 presentation abstract to our email: [email protected] before 05/20, and bring your brilliant posters to the meeting. We are looking forward to your wonderful participation and presentation! :D There are only 3 days left to register for 2015 APRM in Taiwan !!
